THE best Yoga program I have seen. Congratulations (Marcus from Brazil)
THE best Yoga program I have seen. Congratulations (Marcus from Brazil)
Ive been using it for a year and i have no complains. its best yoga app for sure. congrats!
What I like: feels like I have my own instructor guiding me through my session, is very soothing and I can bring it with me everywhere I go. For future versions would like to see: More poses! More programs (Bikram specifically) or make it easier to create programs, a search tool, and integration with the iPad app. I would recomend this to anyone looking to save $ by eliminating the need to go to a yoga class, or to take your yoga on the road with you.
Such a good app! perfect for everyday use and learning how to correctly do the poses. Its not cheesy at all! music is good, the voices, instruction and pictures are good too! worth the money and way better than spending $100+ and have to leave home and do it on a schedule
This is a really good and its comprehensive. Worth the price!
Use it everyday ,love this app
Ive just started using this app, and I really like it. The first time I went through a ready-made program, I was blown away by how easy it was to follow. It really is your own one-on-one yoga class. I love that I can just press start and then not interrupt my flow by having to press anything else (unless you wish to change the music [Eastern Promises is my fave], skip a pose, pause, or finish early - all great options for personalizing the sequence to your level/mood/any time constraint). With that said, there a few things I find a little frustrating. Perhaps these will go away with time, as I become more familar with the app, or perhaps they have not yet been addressed by the app creator. I find designing my own program challenging, as the pose database is organized by Sanskrit names; I havent found the option to search by English. Ive been using Google to translate, which seems like an unnecessary step for those of us not too familar with the original Sanskrit terms. Also, the poses are clumped together in groups like sitting & twisting poses, standing poses, etc, but I find a lot of the poses dont fit the category theyre in! For example, a seated pose will be in the standing category; confusing! And, when browsing poses to add to your program, you are unable to read about the pose; you may only see a thumbnail and then add it. In other areas of the app, there is a thorough breakdown of each pose, but I think it would be nice to have that option while putting together your own program. One more thing! The ready-made programs are great, and I would love to see more of them, including more programs that are shorter in length. I think part of the appeal of this app for myself, and likely others, is the convenience to fit in a little yoga whenever you get the chance, but most of the programs are 40-60 (or more) minutes long. I know an hour of yoga is a pretty usual length of time, but it would be nice to have more options for those of us who arent quite at the guru stage, and like fitting in full programs, say, anywhere from 5-30 minutes long, when we need the boost. Right now, the Sun Salutations (four, I think; one each at the beginner, intermediate, advanced, and guru level) seem to be the only sequences that fit this criteria. It would be nice to have more options. Thats it! I took the time to write such a thorough review because I really believe in this app, and would love to see it go further. I think its worth the money, I use it tons, and I look forward to seeing any future incarnations of All-In Yoga. Namaste!
All in all this is not a bad app, but there are a few glaring holes. The premade programs and interface seem good, but the pose base is where the issues start. The pose base has no search function. How can you have 250 poses, which are organized by sanskrit, with no way to search them besides browsing? There are five categories beginner, intermediate, advanced, guru and "all" when searching the pose base. Another reviewer mentioned that asanas are organized into categories that dont fit i.e. an upright pose listed under seated, this is actually a mistake from the difficulty classifications I believe. When you click beginner it has "Standing" at the top, when you hit guru it has "lying on the back" at the top, so im thinking its just a title thing some programmer didnt correct. So when you go to browse by All it is just showing beginner at the top, intermediate next etc, but its calling them by catagories that do not apply at all. In my mind this is very lazy programming, beyond not correcting the error in catagory names. If there is four alphabetical lists, and I want to search all four at the same time I want a fifth complete list organized alphabetically, not just a long listing of the four lists listed seperately on the same page vertically. As the other reviewer mentions all of the asanas have their sanskrit names, which in itself is not a big deal (I would like to learn them actually and this encourages it), the problem arises because even if you know the sanskrit name of the pose you are looking for you have to scroll through multiple alphabetical lists to find the pose, which is often not where you would expect it to be. For example the "Mountain Pose" (Tadasana) and "Half lotus" (Ardha Padmasana) both appear in a beginner level premade program and I want to add them a program that I am making, so I learn the sanskrit names and try to search the beginner poses. Hmmm not there, okay scroll down to the intermediate section, okay there is one, but not the other. Hmmm okay so Tadasana (basically just standing there) is intermediate while Ardha Padmasana (sitting cross legged with one foot on top) is advanced, and yet they both appear in the beginner programs. Combine this with the fact that there are some more difficult poses in beginner, which my doctor and physio have both cautioned me against due to back problems, and im thouroughly confused. Like I said not a terrible program, it just seems like there were a few things left to fix and it would be a great program, but the developers got lazy and figured "good enough lets just release it".
- 250 asanas and no search function. - categories are incomplete or wrongly placed… standing poses show sitting poses, and vice versa. - feels like an incomplete app.
I am not sure if there has been an update, but all my poses were in english, and if you were unsure about the pose, there is a video. The lady explains the name of the pose and instructions are given as to perform the pose. I use the pre-made sessions and I am super happy with them. Perhaps more music options would be cool but all in all, fantastic app. Some sessions appear long but most have 10 minute relaxation at the end. I was very happy with it.
Exercice go as fast as a train. There’s no way to change duration of each exercice. It’s really stupid! Cheap, cheap app.
probably one of the best application for health and sport. Its afforable and very useful!Strongly recomment for begginers and futher use
This is such a great app! since i left my yoga course because of time, i always wanted to keep practising, but without a teacher, good music & an explanation was impossible for a beginner like me! this is great really, and would be greater if would be possible to download other series of poses to add...
I am using ipad version of All In Yoga for half a year already 5 times a week and it is really the best app for yoga Ive seen. This app is amazing: 1. Looks like several real yoga gurus worked on creating programs for this app 2. Music is selection is great 3. All voiceovers are recorded correctly - so you can enjoy yoga with closed eyes Generally - app provides totally the same experience as visiting a yoga class. It is much more convinient to practice yoga when you have time, not when there are available classes.
There is no more need to pay for yoga trainings because with this App you can do it yourself at home and with more best and efficient results for your body and spirit. Beautiful interface, magic music and professional training programs will give you a new energy level. As major advantages that more important for me: 1. FULLSCREEN amazing interface that alow you to fill free at the floor when doing your trainings. Also you can do it with closed eyes -techer will tell you what to do; 2. Exellent programs for all stage users - from beginner to guru; 3. Ability to make programs YOURSELF if you still belive just to your guru only; 4. Time period adjustment for poses - some poses really difficult to care for a long time; 5. You can choose one of six magic audio tracks or switch sound off and turn on your own music; 6. You can track your calendar statistics - check your responsibility for your health by watching when and how long do you train; 7. You can learn sanskrit :) in addition to English. As negative response I can say that App support English language only.
I wish there would be a fullscreen modus and maybe a different color scheme
I have this app on my iPad, iPhone, iPod and now my Mac. Its a great app. Wishlist: Ability to sync info from each device. syncing the calender and programs would be really nice. ;)
What a great Yoga application. A lot of effort must have gone into making this. The photos, diagrams and video clips are high quality. You never know until you download an app whether youll like it. This was a pleasant surprise.
Fantastic application. Im a beginner, but there are poses and yoga workouts for all levels. You can even design your own yoga workout! I think Im going to love this application; and, feel better because of it.
I love that in the preferences menu of this app, I can turn on the Sanskrit names of the poses instead of English. Ive been trying to learn it for a while and this app is definitely helping, while giving great yoga instruction.
